These terms are a plain-language summary, not legal advice.

Quotes and prices

Anything we give you before we have seen the job is an estimate. A quote is a fixed price only when we have put it in writing and you have accepted it. If the work turns out to need more than the quote covers — damage we could not see, a part that has to be replaced, an access problem — we will tell you and agree the change with you before we carry on.

Booking and cancelling

A booking is confirmed when we have confirmed it back to you. If you need to change or cancel, let us know as early as you can. If we have to change a time we will tell you as soon as we know.

Payment

Invoices are due by the date on the invoice. Where a deposit or a progress payment applies, it will be set out in the quote before the work starts.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing on this page limits those rights. If something goes wrong with our work, tell us — we would rather fix it.

What we collect

What you type into the enquiry form on this page: your name, how to reach you, and what you tell us about the job. With it we keep a scrambled form of your internet address, used only to stop spam. We do not ask for anything else, and this site does not track you around the web.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry and to carry out the work if you go ahead. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Who else sees it

The people working on your job, and the services that run this website and our email on our behalf. Anyone we use is bound to keep it confidential. We may also have to disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to do the work and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and then we get rid of it.

Seeing or correcting what we hold
